A counting fingerplay particularly

V fat peas in a pea pod pressed

Five Picayune Bees
One footling bee blew and flew.
He met a friend, and that made ii.

Three piddling bees, wanted one more,

Four little bees, going to the hive.
Spied their little brother, and that made five.
Five trivial bees working every 60 minutes--

5 Footling Birdies
A fingerplay
5 trivial birdies, flying effectually our door,
4 piddling birdies sitting in a tree,
The yellow one flew away so there were 3.
The little birdies didn't know what to do,
So the cerise one flew away, and then there were two.
Two little birdies sitting in the sunday,
The Dark-brown i flew away, and there was 1.
The piddling greenish baboon felt so all alone,
He/she flew away and then there was none.
Later on that very twenty-four hour period,
v little birdies came dorsum to play.

Ten In A Bed
Activity poem
At that place were x in a bed and the little one said,
"Curlicue over, roll over." rolling motion
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
At that place were nine in the bed and the niggling 1 said,
"Roll over, gyre over."
And then they all rolled over and 1 fell out....
This is repeated until you get to the number i. Each time "roll over" is said, rolling movement is dramatized.
At that place was one in the bed and the piffling ane said, "Good nighttime!" Counting Apples
